German WW2 presentation Dagger, Solingen
You are bidding on a Solingen German Knife Dagger. It has a nice steel blade with the mark of G.C.C.O Solingen Germany 421 as a mark on the blade. The blade is in an excellent condition. The handle and scabbard are made of brass and has a nice patina. It seems to have a Teutonic Knight design.
The blade is sharp on both edges. It’s a very solid knife and weighty from the brass. The wooden box case has marks on the outside. The red velvet inside is in excellent condition. The blade length is about 130 mm (5″) in long. Overall knife length is 280 mm (10″). The wooden box is 420 mm (16.5″) wide. This dagger was given to diplomatic person at the beginning of WW2.
