This item depicted in the images below is a rare German WW2 wound badge in its silver issue version. This badge was awarded to personnel of the German Legion Condor division who suffered combat related injuries.
The Condor division was a German unit that half- secretly fought in the Spanish Civil War between 1936-1940. It tested many of the weapons later on used in the Blitzkrieg campaigns between 1939-1941.

This item depicted in the images below is a German WW2 Luftwaffe Paratrooper flight suit from Legion Condor. My friend bought two WWII army footlockers from an auction in Arkansas in 2005. Both of the footlockers belonged to a WWII solider named William Varga. He was an Officer with the 304th Signal Operation Battalion (please look at his photo below).
The footlockers contained many personal effects such as pictures, uniforms and that flight suite. The lockers were found in an old house in Arkansas, after the land was purchased and all of the items were auctioned off. Along with the flight suite the patch off of a German Luftwaffe sports shirt and a few items from Legion Condor was also in the locker.
We acquired a lot of family photos, canceled checks from 1948 and 1949, letters and cards from family. I have attached two of the items that were in one of the lockers. One is a photo and the other is a news clipping that shows the date (please see the image). I have no problem saying that this is an original WWII flight suit. This suit is in pretty good shape, there is no mooting on it anywhere, the color is crisp and the writing clear, all the stitching is correct.
The suit has a two German stamps (please look at the pictures). Also all zippers has a German maker marks. This item is very collectable and very rare especially in this extremely fine condition. For sample I put 2 German WW2 Luftwaffe pictures with the same suit.

Up for auction is a German WW2 PILOT’S QUALIFICATION BADGE (Flugzeugfьhrerabzeichen) in ETUI.
The Pilot’s Qualification badge was originally introduced in 1935 in order to award personnel of the DLV, Deutscher Luftsportsverband Fliegerschaft, (German Air Sports Association, Pilot Base). The DLV was the secret forerunner of the Luftwaffe, as the Treaty of Versailles in 1919 imposed strict limitations on German Airpower.
In 1936 the badge was officially adopted by the Luftwaffe. Nice and VERY RARE !! For sample I put a pictures of the German officer with the same badge.
Reference: Detlev Niemann in “Price Guide. Orders and decorations Germany” 2004, page 636. Condition is XF. Catalogue price is 575 EURO (13 years ago !!).
