Nickel silver hilt fittings show light surface wear/age with reverse lower fitting group marked, “Sw” (Sudwest). This is a VG example of a 2nd model officer’s dagger manufactured by the Herder firm of Solingen. Bright blade still has visible cross graining which is partially obscured by some “frosting.”
There is one very minor nick on the cutting edge. Scabbard is nice and undented. Handle hs a nice cream color closely simulating ivory. It has a full length hairline crack on the reverse.
Comes with a quality hanger with one strap showing wear and repair.
